TSA Security Procedures and Measures at ONT
Transportation Security Administration TSA monitors and counts on the traveling public to report any unattended packages or bags, prohibited items, persons entering a restricted area, and other similar suspicious activities at airports, bus stops, train stations, and ports. TSA takes the responsibility of checking traveling public and their baggage for X-ray screening.
TSA has a helpline service called TSA Cares, which aims to assist air travelers with special needs, disabilities, and medical conditions. TSA recommends that those passengers should call 72 hours ahead of their travel and get detailed information about screening policies and procedures. The operation hours of TSA Cares helpline are Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
ONT Security Checkpoints and Departure Time
TSA Security checkpoint opens fro 3:45 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Passengers are advised to arrive about 90 minutes before the scheduled departure flight to avoid any casual occasions.
Flying with Real-ID
From the beginning of October 1, 2020, passengers aged 18 years and older will need to present a Real ID-compliant driver’s license.
